เรื่องราว Gokukoku no Brynhildr
กล่าวถึงมุระคามิ เรียวตะ ซึ่งในวัยเด็กนั้นเขาสนิทกับเพื่อนสาวที่เรียกเธอว่า คุโรเนโกะ เธอเป็นคนที่สนใจเรื่องของเอเลี่ยนมากและพยายามบอกทุกคนเรื่องเอเลี่ยนที่จะยึดครองโลก วันหนึ่งเขาได้ตกจากเขื่อนโดยจับมือของคุโรเนโกะที่พยายามช่วยเขา แต่เธอรับน้ำหนักเขาไม่ไหว ทำให้ทั้งสองตกลงเขื่อนไปทั้งคู่ ถึงเขารอดชีวิตมาได้ด้วยสภาพร่างกายที่บาดเจ็บ แต่เขาก็ไม่สามารถกล่าวคำขอโทษแก่คุโรเนโกะที่ได้จากโลกนี้ไปแล้วได้อีก เพื่อพิสูจน์สิ่งที่คุโรเนโกะพูด เขาจึงมุ่งจะเป็นนักวิจัยทางดาราศาสตร์ของ NASA ในอนาคต
